David A. Chazanovitz, Chair
Mr. Chazanovitz served as Chief Executive Officer of Cambridge Heart, Inc. from 2001 through October 2006 and as Chairman of the Board of Directors from July 2004 to October 2006. Cambridge Heart is engaged in the research, development and commercialization of products for the non-invasive diagnosis of cardiac disease, including the use of technology to identify those at risk of sudden cardiac death. From 1998 to September 2000, Mr. Chazanovitz served as the President of the Neurosciences Division of NMT Medical Inc.. From 1996 to July 1998, Mr. Chazanovitz served as the President of the Septal Repair Division of NMT, following the merger of Innerventions, Inc. with NMT. Mr. Chazanovitz was a founder in 1995 of Innerventions, a developer of septal repair devices. Mr. Chazanovitz also previously served as the President of several divisions of C.R. Bard, Inc., including Bard Ventures, Bard Electrophysiology and USCI Angiography. He also serves as a member of the Board of Directors of MedicalCV, Inc (OTCBB:MCVI).

Patricia White
Patricia White co-founded and currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of Inovise Medical, Inc. White presented at Springboard Silicon Valley 2001 and won the Moneyhunt Award. She was also awarded the Investors Choice award for biotech at the Monte Jade conference in Vancouver, Canada in September 2001. White's background includes a 13-year career at Hewlett-Packard in marketing, R&D management, and international roles. White earned her M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Beni Rovinski
Beni Rovinski, Ph.D., is the Managing Director of Lumira Capital Corp (Formerly MDS Capital.) He is responsible for investments in both private and public companies that are focused on drug discovery, drug delivery, specialty pharmaceuticals, drug discovery and diagnostic tools, genomics, and proteomics. Prior to joining MDS Capital as a Vice-President, Beni held senior positions in the commercial sector, including over 13 years of research, operational, and managerial experience at Sanofi-Pasteur, with a particular focus in the areas of molecular virology, vaccine development, recombinant protein production, and functional genomics. While at Sanofi-Pasteur, he led a number of global R&D programs in the areas of HIV/AIDS and cancer, bringing programs through to IND. Beni attended Rice University in Houston, Texas, where he graduated with a B.Sc. in Biochemistry. Subsequently, Beni obtained a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from McGill University in Montreal, Quebec, and undertook post-doctoral studies in molecular oncology and retrovirology at the Ontario Cancer Institute in Toronto, Ontario.

Richard O. Martin, Ph.D
Dr. Martin recently retired as President of Medtronic Physio-Control Corporation, the worldwide leader in external defibrillation, monitoring, and noninvasive pacing devices. Previously, Dr. Martin was with Sulzermedica, Inc., where he was Vice President of cardiovascular business development. Prior to that, he held several senior executive positions in engineering, marketing and sales before being named President and Chief Operating Officer of Intermedics, Inc. Dr. Martin has served on the board and as chairman of the Northwest affiliate of the American Heart Association. He was also on the boards and chairman of the Medical Device Manufacturers Association and the Washington Council of AeA, and served as AeA’s national chairman in 2001. Dr. Martin currently serves on the boards of CardioDynamics International, Encore Orthopedics, MDdatacor, Cardiac Dimensions, and EsophyX. Dr. Martin received his B.S.E.E. from Christian Brothers College, M.S.E.E. from Notre Dame, and Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Duke University. Before joining the corporate world, he taught at Christian Brothers College and the University of Tennessee.

Dallas Ross
Mr. Ross is a partner and founder of Kinetic Capital Partners, a private equity and late stage venture capital firm started in 2001 with substantial high net worth equity backers. Kinetic Capital Partners invests in selected healthcare, information system and consumer businesses.  Previously, Mr. Ross was Managing Director, Investment Banking and prior to that Managing Director, Mergers and Acquisitions at Scotia Capital Markets where he commenced employment in Toronto in 1985. Mr. Ross is currently active on the board of six organizations: two are public companies; three are private companies; and one is a not-for-profit institution. He has an honors business degree from the University of British Columbia and subsequent to that qualified as a Chartered Accountant.

David B. Swedlow, MD
Dr. Swedlow is currently a principal in The Swedlow Group, a consulting and seed investing firm concentrating in emerging medical technologies. Previously, he was a Senior Vice President of Medical Affairs and Technology Development for Nellcor Puritan Bennett from 1987 through 1998. Prior to coming to Nellcor, Dr. Swedlow was an associate professor of Anesthesiology at the University of Pennsylvania and senior staff physician at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia in the Department of Anesthesia and Critical Care Medicine. He received his bachelor’s of science degree from MIT in aerospace engineering, and his M.D. degree from Harvard Medical School.
