AUDICOR® 200D
Weighing less than a pound, the new portable AUDICOR® 200D
is the first diagnostic to help paramedics solve one of their most
challenging problems—the confident diagnosis of shortness-of-breath
in patients with subtle signs and symptoms of heart failure—a situation
exacerbated by the limited availability of diagnostic tools. Pre-hospital
diagnosis of heart failure is especially difficult in the presence
of symptoms associated with respiratory diseases. Studies report
the diagnosis of heart failure by paramedics is missed in 46% of
heart failure patients.
AUDICOR® 200D is the first portable diagnostic
combining heart sounds and electrocardiogram technology for pre-hospital
providers. Sensors containing miniaturized microphones record the
heart’s electrical and mechanical functions simultaneously.
Findings are displayed on the screen, and printed via blue-tooth
technology to a printer. AUDICOR® 200D is a completely portable
solution allowing simple integration into existing protocols and
improved overall efficiencies of paramedics.
